New Hillcrest Elementary Assistant Principal

We are delighted to announce that Elizabeth Pottle will be joining us as the new Assistant Principal of Hillcrest Elementary School.  Elizabeth brings with her an impressive 13 years of experience in education, having served as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, and most recently as a special education consultant and coordinator for the North Bend School District. 

Elizabeth holds teaching licenses in Washington, Arizona, and Oregon, and Oregon Principal Licensure. Her diverse background and wealth of experience make her a valuable addition to our leadership team. 

During her years in education, Elizabeth Pottle has demonstrated extensive leadership experience. She has provided training and coaching support for special education staff, mentored new teachers, served on multiple leadership committees and teams, and successfully launched a district magnet program for medically fragile special education students.

In her current role in North Bend, Elizabeth has played a crucial role assisting the Director of Special Programs. She has been instrumental in the evaluation, coordination, and facilitation of special education programs. Elizabeth has also provided valuable training and support for school staff, emphasizing the integration of data into educational evaluation reports to guide instruction and individualized educational programs for students.

Elizabeth has a passion for education and is a strong and devoted leader who puts students first.  She is driven by student success, staff collaboration, the use of data to drive instruction, and meeting the diverse needs of all our students in North Bend.
